Most people think of banners- typically a temporary sign that draws attention to a business or an event. They are noticeable because of their size or their color, which draws the eye. In a busy area, a banner can be used to separate a business from the rest of the crowd. Large banners are typically used as tools for an announcement. However, banners can be more than that. One popular is a table cloth.
The table banner material is made with scrim vinyl, which is the most common substrate (material) for printing outdoor banners. The scrim vinyl is a polyethylene substrate, reinforced with polyester cording. This internal cording is what it strength and durability to withstand damaging winds and weather conditions. Since the material is used for the outdoor, it can resist spills on the banner. However, you need to wipe up the spill right away. Or just wipe it off with water. It will be great for outdoor parties or company parties.
The best thing about a table banner is that is served for two reasons:
1)Promoting the company or event: you can put your business logo, name and address on the banner. Typically you will see the logo, name, and address near the bottom of the banner so everyone can see it.
2) It serves as a cloth so food or drinks do not spill on the table. Since most people leave stains on the table cloths, this material can be wiped up without stains, if you do this right away.
How to store the banner for the future:
The most important thing is that is strongly recommended to roll the banner, not fold it. If folded, the banner may become wrinkled or creased. While rolling a vinyl banner make sure it is rolled with design surface inside. It will be a good idea to have your banner in a tube to secure it. Also, make sure your banner is securely clean and dry so there will be no mildew. It is impossible to remove mildew. The place where your banner is being stored should be dry and cool.
