ADA / Braille Signs

The term "ADA Signs" is most commonly used to describe signs with Braille lettering and raised characters commonly seen in any public building. They are used to mark rooms of a facility, including exits and are used to inform about the accessibility of a building. These rules mostly apply to anything considered to be an architectural sign and do not apply to signs for advertising & marketing, temporary signs or names or logos of a business.

ADA Sign - American Disability Act

According to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), public places are required to identify areas that are accessible by those with disabilities. So whether you are updating your current ADA signs during a renovation or you’re making sure your new business or property is compliant, Unlimited Signs has what you need.

We custom make our ADA signs in-house on our state-of-the-art router/engraver which gives us greater control over the quality of the product we put out and the time it takes to deliver. Other shops in the area outsource their work to online vendors which often deliver a cheap, low quality product with no control over delivery times.

If you have a need for custom ADA signs for your building or upcoming construction or renovation project please give us a call, stop in to see us or you can fill out our Quote Request Form and we'll get right back to you with the information you need.
