Our customer’s son had an Eagle Scout project. His project was to make field signs for his high school. Since the school was on a budget, our customer’s son, Mike wanted to make the signs himself. Since he is very handy with tools, good at budgeting and organizing, he thought this would be a good project to work on for his Eagle Scout award. It is a much needed project for New Milford High School.
To become an Eagle Scout, you need the following:
Be active in your troop, team, crew, or ship for a period of at least six months after you have achieved the rank of Life Scout.
Demonstrate that you live by the principles of the Scout Oath and Scout Law in your daily life.
Earn a total of 21 merit badges (10 more than you already have)
The benefits of being an Eagle Scout are the following:
Value perseverance, discipline, motivation, leadership, accountability, and achievement. And those lead to tangible benefits. College admissions officers recognize the award and consider it in their decisions. Being an Eagle Scout won’t make up for poor grades, but it will give a boy an advantage
Since Mike, the eagle scout does not have a printer to print his field board, he called us at Unlimited Signs. To make these field signs, Mike sent us his artwork of what he wanted on the signs. He gave us the layouts and the measurements. In turn we printed him the layouts, and gave him the boards to mount on. Unlimited Signs gave him suggestions of how to mount the prints to the material boards and other questions he asked. Unlimited Signs like to help out with the community. No job is too small for us. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate call us 203-546-7267.
